Every time I open the fridge, Colton scurries over and tries to rummage around in there.
Today, he discovered he could use one of his wicker toy baskets flipped upside down as a step to help him climb up his rather unstable bookcase. In lieu of bolting it to the wall since we're in a rental, I think we're just going to remove the hazardous shelf to the garage.
Yesterday, my mountain climbing baby tried to hike out of the bathtub and instead slipped and fell face first in the water (no harm done, don't worry grandmas - mom was close at hand).
I've also now realized the foolishness of having china in one of my bottom kitchen cabinets. A couple of hours ago, Colton had crawled completely inside this cabinet. Fortunately, I was on my toes and removed anything before it got broken. Oh yes, and my two-foot tall brick hearth is now Mt. Everest for Sherpa boy. It also doubles at a chew toy. Talk about nails on a chalkboard, the sound of teeth grinding on brick is far worse! (Note to all amateur/real deal dentists: I do intervene and put a stop to this grinding away of precious enamel as quickly as possible.)
Yowzers. I know this is just the beginning!! I better get READY for some serious action.

One of the eyes in the back of your head is probably fully functional now and the other one is ready to sprout. Hearing reaches its highest acuity about the same time the development of eyes is complete. The more times Colton gets in the fridge, the faster the eyes grow. Love, Mom.
Yes, but he's so-o-o cute!
Hey girl. I haven't talked to you in forever. I hope things are going well for you, Casey, and Colton. Things are tricky here, but i'll explain more later... How is the house coming along? They're working on my plumbing and electricity at my house... Anyways, need to hear from you soon! Love and miss you. Jennifer
