The Plague Strikes Again!

We're back from Colorado and managed to enjoy the week there without any illness. But, lo and behold as soon as we return to the fine state of Texas, the sickies find us again!

So far, Colton is the only ill family member. We took the poor little guy to the doctor today and he tested positive for the H1N1. Earlier in the day he had a 104 degree fever. He's definitely not a happy camper. Pray he recovers quickly and that the rest of us don't catch it!

On a more cheerful note, we had a great time on our family vacation to Colorado. Colton saw the mountains and rode in a plane for the first time. He also got to spend lots of time getting loved on by his cousins. He and his near-in-age cousin, Phoebe, had a blast throwing dominoes on the ground, sharing a broom and dust pan and running around being cute.

The weather was really nice - it even snowed a couple days for us! One of the highlights of the trip for me was visiting an outdoor museum in South Park City. The museum is made up of the largest collection of buildings from the 1800s. It had an old mine, pharmacy, railroad cars, homes, saloon and a whole bunch more!

I've got some good pictures to post, but I'll have to wait until Casey uploads them to the computer. Instead, I'm posting a couple pictures from Labor Day weekend with my brother and Dad.

You guys were really close to where I grew up! Lots of memories of driving thru Fairplay to get to the slopes. :-) Hope my little guy feels better soon!

Glad you had a good time! Maxton had H1N1 last week but he is all better now and nobody else in the house got it so that was great!
