Last night I had a very real seeming dream that someone broke into our house. In my dream, I tried calling 911 but the operator told me that no one would be able to help for that sort of problem. I reiterated that I currently had an intruder in my home and she begrudgingly offered to possibly send someone out.
For some reason, my brother was there too, and he and I went to go see what was going on in the rest of the house. That's when we saw that the burglar had turned on the hallway light (not very sneaky) and was sitting down in our office playing on the computer (not very profitable).
My brother went to talk to the burglar at that point, and it turned out it was some skinny teenager who'd gotten confused about where he lived. My brother then escorted him to the door. Apparently I don't dream of very clever or dangerous bad guys.
I remember thinking during the dream: "I'm going to have to post on my blog that someone broke into the house!" Thankfully, it was real and even it had been, our burglar was clearly more interested in surfing Facebook than actually taking stuff. Lucky me.

Ha! That is hilarious, I have dreamed about needing to post on the blog too:)
I had a dream last night that we decided to move out of the burbs and found a place in a little dinky town. It wasn't until after we signed all the papers that I examined the house, only to find bumpy linoleum, peeling wood, only one bathroom (on the third floor, no less), rooms with dark green shag carpet, a fridge that had to be held up with bars because the floor sloped so badly, a basement with a dark blue cement floor, and a nearby very smokey factory. I started bawling and asking Eric if we could get out of the contract. I'm surprised I didn't wake up crying. But I did wake up very thankful for our house!
that is a great dream. i have had lots of crazy dreams in the past. remember the pole-throwing contest at the gfa retreat? i had a dream that there was a boxing contest. except it wasn't quite boxing. you could use random things in your 'fight.' someone had uprooted a tree and was gonna use it to help them box. i know, right? :)
Those are crazy dreams! All I can say is, call your mamas! Make sure they aren't moving into dilapidated shacks or getting their ears boxed by tree branches!
