In the middle of September, Casey and I are going on a vision tour of India for two weeks.While we're there, we'll visit our Bridge of Hope children's schools, village churches, bible schools, national missionaries and possibly a leprosy colony. We fly into Delhi and spend time with various ministries there, then we head to Calcutta, then a few days later, Udaipur, then Kochi and then we fly out of Delhi.
We're both really excited to get to see first-hand the work on the mission field and for what God's going to teach us through this experience. One of the main purposes of this trip is to give us a better understanding of the tremendous needs overseas and help us better communicate them in our ministry roles.
Casey's nervous about flying over the ocean and also feeling a bit OCD about some of the places we may visit. I'm mostly just nervous about living Colton for two weeks. I've only ever been away from him for one night and that was just this summer. So, you can pray for God to help us with those concerns.
The cost of the trip will be about $6,000. We were really blessed when we spoke to a Sunday school class at a church back home last weekend and raised $2,300 for the trip. Now we're more than a third of the way to our support raising need - Yay!
It's really humbling to have people give you money, but it's also a blessing to know that they're partnering with us because they want to be a part of what God's doing in Asia.
When we get back, I look forward to sharing what we've experienced and posting some cool pictures.

Wow, that is awesome. I will be praying for both you with the mommy-ness and Casey with the flying ocd-ness:O) But I am glad that I will get to see you guys before you go:O)
