It's been such a blessing to watch him grow and learn. He cracks us up everyday.
Just today, we were making a card for his Grandma Effie and he said he wanted to tell her about fish and water. So I drew a picture of a fish in water. Next to the fish was a hook with a worm on it. Colton quickly informed of the error of my drawing.
"Fish don't eat worms. Birds eat worms. Fish eat flies," he said.
That's what comes from having a fly fisherman as your dad, I suppose.
Then at his birthday lunch at Grandma's he showed fine manners by telling us all that he couldn't eat his lunch because the rice was too "grimy." We couldn't help but laugh.
