Graduating from college. Getting married. Getting a real job. Buying a home. These are the milestones of my adult life.On Saturday, I added a new achievement to this list. Obtaining an adult library card. Yes, for the last 13 years, I’ve had a student library card. It even had my mom’s signature above my name. It also had my middle initial wrong – but that’s neither here nor there.
I am now able to check out something like 20 or 30 materials at once! This is incredible considering before Saturday my limit was six. Apparently, when I was 14 my mom set a limit to keep me and my brother from running up late fines.
Casey got his own library card too. So, now we're both big-time grown ups. Please feel free to contact me if you need any advice on how to be super mature and adult-like.

wow, you are ALL grown up now. pass your advice on anytime, oh wise one!
Summer, i'm so proud of you! I've actually had my "grown-up" card taken away for excessive fines...not something i'm proud of...I'm hoping to get reinstated this summer.
Remember, with privileges come responsibilites.
After reading your comment, my subconscious must have decided it was time for me to have a dream about you. It was HILARIOUS Summer but way to long to write out on here. I'll just give you a lil' taste by saying it involved me dressing as a gypsy and us doing an interpretive dance called "The Chase" for a Sunday service at Henderson Hills.
I woke up just cracking up.
