Little Person, Lotsa Luggage

Doesn't it seem logical that a small person should only need a small bag when traveling? They are small, therefore their clothing, and other accouterments are also small. But nay, this be not the case (what sort of accent was that?)

I'm sure all the more experienced parents out there are very familiar with the excessive "gear" that accompanies a traveling baby, but I'm just now figuring this out.

Would you like to hear my list of things to pack for Colton to stay four nights and five days in Oklahoma City? (Well, if you want to actually "hear" it you'll have to read it aloud to yourself.)

First the obvious:
Diapers
Wipes
Clothes
Toys
Burp clothes
Blankets
Bibs
Pack n' Play

Now for the less considered essentials:
Space heater (the temperature we sleep with is too nippy for the wee one)
Bumbo seat (to put him in when he eats)
Baby bath (he can't go almost a week without a washin' can he? And the big tub scares me still)
Stroller
Sheet for his Pack n' Play
A couple baby-size spoons and bowls
Jars of baby food
Rice and oatmeal cerealS
Pump (that's for me, for him)
Bottles

Wozer, that's alota stuff! So, maybe we'll be hauling a trailer behind our car!
