Do you ever find yourself thinking in Facebook status lingo? Like, "Summer is in the kitchen wondering what to cook for dinner." Or, "Summer is shocked at how dry her hands are." Or even, "Summer is hang gliding over north Dallas looking for reindeer." (Of course, when you're thinking it should be your name in place of mine because otherwise it would be a bit disturbing.)
Or if you don't use Facebook, you might relate more to the idea of referring to yourself in 2nd person. For example, if I you were looking in your closet trying to find something to wear, you might hold up a shirt and say to yourself: "No. I definitely don't think you should wear that."
But, my favorite way to talk to myself is 1st person plural such as "What do we want to eat for lunch?" Or, "How are we going to get all this done!?" Perhaps, it's because I like the implied support that comes from using "we" and "us," even if it's just me that will be scrubbing the toilets or cooking dinner.
If you never use "we" or "us" when talking to yourself, you might be thinking I'm a bit loony. However, I know of a very respectable gentleman who always talks to himself this way and no one would ever think he's odd . . .
Here's an illustration of this good-hearted individual's perfect sanity. "We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!"
You see, we (and by that I mean me) we-users are a wee bit wacky. (I wish I could have found a legitimate way to throw a "Wii" in there.)

Cute pic of Colton! He's getting so big. I find my self saying "What does mommy want for lunch, etc." since I'm always referring to myself that way to Hudson...Problem is I think that even when he's napping or not around.
I definitely talk to myself like that. And for all those great facebook statuses, i always forget them. so they never become reality.
HAHAHA! And YES! i was just thinking about blogging about how I "think" in Twitter!! We are so like-minded!
Had a blast at Christmas, but didn't seem like I had good face time with you!! Boo-hoo!
