Count down till 2!

Today Colton is 20 months old! I have to say, it kind of caught me by surprise. He's out of his "teens" now and well on his way to the terrific twos. :)

I think this age is so much fun! He's talking more and more and is starting to say short sentences like "Here you go" "Got it" "What is it?" or "Daddy Eat." I tried to count how many words he could say the other day. I got up to about 150 but then he just kept saying more words, and I stopped adding them to the list.

This weekend we purchased a sofa and chair on craigslist for our den. Colton is in love with them! The cushion on the chair is pretty light so he is constantly pulling it off to use it as a step and get on the couch. He's always saying "Chair" or "Couch" and flashing a big smile for someone to lift him up on the big people furniture.

Colton is a very spirited little boy. He loves to climb, kick, throw, hide and play chase. Typical "dude" stuff. I love that he is so full of energy and curiosity. He constantly cracks me and Casey up! Since he is so busy though he is prone to accidents. He frequently takes tumbles or falls off things he's trying to climb on. I pray for his safety everyday and try to keep him out of as much trouble as I possibly can!

Colton likes to give bumps (fist pounds), buzzes (index finger to index finger with a buzzing sound) and high fives.
