Yesterday I was folding laundry while watching a little bit of The Deep End of The Ocean while Colton napped. When he got up, I kept playing the movie for just a couple minutes. But then Michelle Piefer's character started crying hysterically, so I turned it off because I didn't want it to scare Colton.
After I turned it off Colton said, "crying." Then a second later "fussy." I said "Yeah she was being fussy, wasn't she?" It was funny to hear him use that word to describe an adult's behavior. But I guess to him his tears over something that upsets him is the same as a grown woman sobbing. They're both just being fussy. :)
This weekend our family will make a quick trip to Oklahoma to attend Edmond Christian Church's annual mission's day. The church is one of our sending churches, and we will have a booth at the event. I'm looking forward to seeing family over the weekend and visiting with people at church.
Since it's such a quick visit we probably won't see very many people expect family and those who are at ECC on Sunday. Colton hasn't seen his Gram and Grandad since our visit at Christmas, so I'm looking forward to them getting to hang out. I also can't wait for Colton to see his cousin "Fifi" again. He is always pretending to call her on the phone. "Hello, Fifi?" They're so cute playing together!
