Tomorrow, we set out on our mission to terrify and annoy childless AA passengers headed for Florida. Okay... so that's not my actual mission but it may be an unintended byproduct of presence on the flight.
I've packed my carry on with items I hope will keep us from being the most hated family on the plane. Fun snacks, a coloring book, stories, and a couple dollar bin toys. I can't make any promises though - our flight time does coincide with nap time so we'll just have to hope that the novelty of flying is worth a premium to an almost 2 year old boy.
I'm sure it will all work out and hopefully be a relaxing trip (not the actual plane ride, but the vacation itself), I'm just a tad apprehensive about the actual "getting there" portion.
We're staying in a condo with Casey's parents next week and are looking forward to getting to do some fun family stuff plus taking some dates sans toddler.
Colton's never been to the beach, so that should be really fun. I'm looking forward to shelling with him and building sand castles. We should have some nice pictures to share when we get back.
If you read this and think of it, pray that we'll have smooth travels and that Colton will sleep well in an unfamiliar bed.

Praying!!!! We took paper cups on our flight to TX. Sinclair played with them for at least a half an hour, and we didn't care if we left them on the plane:O) Maybe that will be something to keep him happy!!!
