Enjoying the (rare) January Sunshine

This past week, we enjoyed some beautiful weather in our area. On Friday, I took Colton to the park where he got to play outside for almost three hours. Then on Saturday, it was gorgeous again so our family headed to the Dallas Zoo. It was busy, but not terribly crowded.

I'm so glad we got some fresh air and Vitamin D this weekend. A winter blizzard is scheduled to roll into town tonight!

Casey's parents were in town on Wednesday as they drove from Brownsville, Texas back to Oklahoma. Here Colton is with his "gram" and his valentine bear, Val.

Walking around for a couple hours started to wear me out. Here I am catching some rest on a bench while the guys climbed on the rocks.


After all his fun at the zoo, Colton passed out in the car.
