It's Monday, and that meant it was back to work for lil' old Summer. Having a few days away from the office reminded me once again how much I enjoy home life. Each day, I did my Denise Austin Pilates tape, read the Bible and ate breakfast at the dining table. That's the life!
Casey and I also put up our Christmas tree on Saturday. This was our first year to buy a fake one. I just didn't feel like dealing with the mess of a real one this year. Although I do miss the evergreen smell.
On Sunday, we went to lunch with some friends who, like us, are working on support raising for ministry positions. It was fun to get to talk to some people who are dealing with some of same things.
In baby news, I'm 14 weeks and 3 days! Woo-hoo - it's second trimester for me! I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday. I'm not sure what they'll do at this one. Maybe we'll hear the baby's heart on the Doppler. That would be cool. My next ultrasound won't be until around 18 weeks though. That's when we'll find out the gender of the baby.
I hope everyone one had a delightful Thanksgiving! I know I sure did. Here's to Christmas being just around the corner!
