Our House (in the Middle of Our Street)

Our house really is in the middle of our street so that wasn't just another shameless song reference. Some people have asked to see pictures of our new pad in Texas, and we've finally gotten things set up enough to take some pictures.

In addition to seeing how we've positioned our "stuff," I'd like you to pay close attention to some of this house's groovy stylings. For the connoisseur of 1970's wallpaper and linoleum, our home is quite a find.

I wanted to add pictures of our green bathtub and countertops, but that would've required picking up some towels, so I passed.

Retro decor and all, we’re very grateful for our house. It’s spacious, has tons of storage and a really pretty backyard. And it’s definitely got plenty of character!
(These captions might be all screwy. They're displaying normally on my laptop but not on the Mac. So I dunno.)

A ferny bathroom will brighten your morning.

Here's what we see whilst we sittith upon our couch.

Here's the room where we do our 'putery stuff.

This is where'd you'd stay if you came for a visit.

It's me, looking at me, looking at the kitchen.

This is actually linoleum and not tile but I kinda like it all the same.

The green countertops have grown on me. However, the 'Kitch-n-Vent' aka our microwave/oven and stove controller has not.

There's no place like home. (I'm wearing red shoes, get it, huh, huh, get it?)

Follow the yellow brick road! (I'm on a role with the Wizard of Oz references!)
