Chit Chating with the Orthodontist in My Sleep

I never talk in my sleep. Except when I have an urgent matter to discuss with the orthodontist, or was it the optometrist? I'm not sure of the details, but I vaguely remember sitting in a doctor's office and discussing something rather pressing. I wasn't even in bed. I'd just fallen asleep on our little love seat. (Something I do pretty often.) I guess it doesn't take me that long to go into R.E.M. sleep, because I was in full-blown dream mode.

While I only vaguely remember the dream, I clearly remember the post-dream ridiculing I received from Casey.

But, it's still not as bad as the time when Casey woke up around 3 a.m., ripped the covers off the bed, turned on the lights and started rummaging through the bed. When I inquired as to what he was doing, he hastily responded, "Give me a minute!" The next day, he informed me that he'd been searching for pool motors in the bed. He said even while he was dreaming, he knew something was off and that's why he hadn't wanted to answer my question about what he was doing.

Oh, that one still cracks me up.

Man, Summer, you dream a lot!
The story about Casey made Brent and laugh! I can even see Casey in action!!!

That was supposed to read..."made Brent and me laugh" not "Brent and laugh". What do you do? I've been learning Hebrew all day!

One time in high school Tasha and I went camping at Lake Murray. I dreamed all night long there were things in the tent and all night long I was talking to her about things outside the tent that were trying to get in. Finally in the early morning, still asleep, I woke her up scared to death and convinced that a little animal had chewed its way into the tent and that we couldn't get off the air mattresses or it would bite us... it took about five minutes but finally she woke me up enough to show me that there were no holes in the tent.

It weird that the emotion can be SO real!

i know what you mean about feeling a strong emotion even after a dream, erin. once i dreamed that holly got pregnant (and wasn't married!). i was so mad at her in the dream. and when i saw her the next morning, i was still really mad only i didn't know why until i rememeber the dream!

Get a dream book and give us the interpretation...THAT would be funny. You DO dream a lot.

In my dreams, I can not read! It's not that I don't know how...but if there are ANY words in my dream they are clear for a split second and then as I try to read, it all goes blurry...signs, letters, anything. I get very frustrated in my dreams because I know it so I try to read fast...to no avail.
