This weekend, Casey and I went to Edmond Christian Church to talk to their Sunday School classes about Gospel for Asia. It was really cool. They did a combined class for the adult Sunday School group, and it was a really good turnout, probably 80 people. First, Ron Ventresca spoke (a supporter of ours who is now a volunteer for GFA). He told everyone a little bit about the ministry and how he found out about it. Then he played the native missionary video. After Ron spoke, Casey went up and talked about GFA's children's ministry, Bridge of Hope. Then he talked about what we're doing (going to work at GFA headquarters and raising our own support.)
After the Sunday School classes got out, we had a table in the back where people could come by and get more information and sign up if they were interested in supporting us. Several people who we'd never even met before came back and said they wanted to be supporters, so that was really encouraging.
We stayed for the service and afterwards there was a chili cook-0ff to raise money for the youth group to go to church camp. At the lunch, we got to talk to Matt and Angie Crosser who are missionaries in Italy. It was really cool to hear them talk about how their whole goal is to raise up native missionaries and pastors there (which is what Gospel for Asia uses).

As far as our support goes, about 35% of the pledges we need have actually been sent into Gospel for Asia. Then, if we add in the people who have said they want to support us but just haven't sent in the pledges yet, we're closer to 70 or 75% of our total need. Once, we've hit about 65% of our support, we can put our house on the market and focus and raising the last of our pledges.
We're really hoping to be moved down to Texas by late March or April (to give us time to get settled in before the baby comes). So, please pray that God would continue to provide us with supporters and that he will also provide a buyer for our home.
If you're interested in more information about the work we'll be doing at GFA or becoming one of our supporters, that's AWESOME! Please, e-mail us at harvest4asia@gmail.com.
