Craigslist is Awesome!

Since Casey and I are moving and planning to put our house on the market in the next couple of weeks, we needed to clear some stuff out. I thought about having a garage sale, but it's still really cold. Then I decided to try craigslist.org. If you haven't used it, it's a free website where you can post and review classified ads.

I snapped a few photos of the items I wanted to get rid of and within hours I had received multiple e-mails and phone calls from interested buyers. By 7 p.m. tonight, we'd found a home for every one of the items! And made a little money!!

With my new found dough, we're buying a 7 piece comforter set (see the picture above.) I've had the same Wal-mart comforter for about 5 years, and it's not too bad but it has some bleach stains in one of the corners. We'll be able to use the old comforter for a guest room, but we were thinking having a nicer bedspread would help the house show better.

I found the new comforter with free shipping at KingLinens.com. So, now I get a new comforter, 2 shams, a bed skirt and three decorative pillows AND I even have a little money left over. Yay for craigslist.org and cheap bedding websites!
