Who Would Win in a Fight?

When my brother and I were kids, he used to pose questions like, "Who would win in a fight, a lion or a shark?" (Which of course led to more questions about whether the battle would take place on land or in the sea.)

After the season premiere of Lost last night, Casey and I watched on episode of Battlestar Galactica. Which got me thinking what would happen if characters from the two shows were stacked up against each other. For example, who would win in hand-to-hand combat Starbuck or Sayid? Who would outplot the other - Gaius Baltar or Ben Linus?

Since, most people I know don't actually watch BSG, the scenario can be applied to other shows/books/movies too. Jack Bauer vs. Sidney Bristow, Sherlock Holmes vs. Monk, Gregory House vs. Dana Scully.

Who would win in a battle of your favorite characters?

(Please note: I don't actually routinely watch all of the shows that these characters are featured on, so don't worry that I'm a total TV zombie. In fact, I've never seen Monk, but heard it's good.)

Sayid and Gaius are my choices.

I believe I can now answer this age old question. If the tiger and the shark were in the ocean, the shark would win. If on land, the shark would have a hard time walking away from the fight. Tiger wins.

Someone changed my channel on tv from "I Love Lucy" to "Lost" while I was sleeping on the sofa. When I woke up, no one was in the room, but a bunch of people were being killed every few minutes. I think I would like Ballatica folks to come and put an end to the mean people on the Island, then I could keep on watching "I Love Lucy" and "Andy Griffith" without some body thinking I'm behind times.

I think Sayid could kick anyone's butt. Even the tiger.

Sayid vs. jack bauer...

john lock is still the #1 Vero (Tate tells me that's a 1/2 hero, 1/2 villian)

Yeah, my money is on Sayid as well.

Casey and I discussed the Gaius vs. Ben dilema, and we agree with Terese. Gaius would win. Mostly because he is completly self-seeking and would resort to almost anything to save his own skin.
