Turkey Talk

It always this time of year when I realize that it's almost over and that it's gone incredibly quickly. This year seems like it's gone by even faster. I guess that's what happens when you are as ancient as me. (Hardy, har, har)

This year one of my big plans for Thanksgiving includes not getting food poisoning/a stomach bug and actually being able to eat. That's right, last year a nasty stomach funk denied me the delight of overeating and Friday afternoon leftovers! This year I'm coming at Thanksgiving with a doggie bag attached to my shirt!

...Okay so maybe I'm not really out for a huge glutton fest, but I am looking forward to eating all sorts of good fixings. In my opinion the food at Thanksgiving is always a little better than at Christmas. At Christmas, people tend to feel like, "Hey, we just cooked all that stuff at Thanksgiving. Let's just take it easy." Now, you see the reason for the doggie bag affixed to the shirt.

I'm excited for Thanksgiving this year too, because less than 24 hours later the three of us will be enjoying Christmas festivities!!
