This week Casey and I are in Texas. So, I won't be posting much. But, I assure you that I'll have a Texas-sized post when I return. I can tell you that it's nice and toasty down here and that the Texans are still awfully proud of their state.

Summer, you will really impress them if you tell them their state is the only state allowed to fly the state flag at the same height as the American flag because once they were an independent republic. But, the chance that you would be able to tell them without them telling you first is probably about as big as being struck by lightening eight times within a couple weeks.
