Charlie is Dead

Well, after several days of flopping around on the bottom and refusing to eat, Charlie has given up the ghost and died. I started to suspect that Big Orange might have been intimadating Lil' Yellow and keeping him from eating, but by the time we considered putting him in his own tank, it was too late. Casey disposed of the body for us. (That was not something I wanted to do.)
Now, Casey wants to get another guppie to replace him. But, if Charlie really does have issues with bullying, will he be a repeat offender?

Maybe you should get one that's even bigger. :)

You might have killed Charlie Summer. Sudden changes in water temp can kill stressed out or weakened fish.

Sorry but you can't blame the other Charlie for this one. Haha.

I don't really think it was the water change. The reason I changed the water was because he was floundering about. Then when I changed the water, he started swimming again. Then he returned to his old behavior shortly after. His tail had been injured in some way, either by disease or by the chomping mouth of Charlie. Although, I could be blamed for not changing his water sooner which could've led to his diseased state, or not feeding them often enough which could've caused Charlie to chomp.
