Hi Ho, Hi Ho! It's off to Arkansas we go!

Casey and I are headed to Mountain View, Arkansas - the folk music capital of the world - tomorrow. It's our 5 year anniversary, and we're celebrating by taking a long weekend in the Ozark Mountains. This will probably be our last "hurrah" before the baby comes, so I'm looking forward to catching up on my sleep and relaxing with Casey.

In honor of our 5 year anniversary, here are 5 things I love about being married to Casey:

5. Rarely having to pump my own gas. This one should speak for itself. Gas is smelly and pumping when it's cold or rainy is no fun.

4. Making up songs together. (We've got a ton of hits! An album featuring: "I wear fancy pants," "The Cylons were created by man," and "This stuff is the kind of stuff" is coming soon.

3. His laugh. If you haven't heard Casey laugh before it's a hoot in itself. His very loud, hearty laugh is particularly rewarding when you're trying to be funny. I mean seriously, who wants their awesome jokes greeted by a mere grin? No half hearted giggles from this one.

2. That he's never met a stranger. While just about everyone I meet is stranger for the first six months, Casey is constantly making new buddies and chatting people up wherever he goes. I like that we're so different. It keeps things interesting.

1. That we're gonna be a threesome in just a couple of months! After 5 years of being a couple, the thought of being a "family" is a little scary, a whole lot exciting and really cool.
